Today I am grateful to my husband’s friend and a hostess of a barbecue we went to for cooking especially for me a delicious tray of roasted vegetables (artichokes were particularly divine), and dill rice pilau, which she kept vegan. Perfect summer treat, perfect lady.

Today I am grateful for a special copper-infused film I bought to repel the slugs off my precious Osaka Purple Salad leaves without killing the slugs.
2 June 2014: Veganomicon
Today I am grateful to the authors of Veganomicon. I realised that I had not cooked the recipes I used to love for what might very well be years, so I pulled myself together and made quinoa pilaf and rice with lentils and caramelised onions today. Delicious.

Today I am grateful to my carnivore friend for baking delicious vegan chocolate and beetroot cupcakes for me.

Today I am grateful for availability of vegan slices, luncheon rolls and cheese, which I donated to an event for everyone (myself included) to partake. Yummy.
26 March 2013: delicious grill and silliness
Today I am grateful – to myself, really – for first, making an effort and working on the silly side of me – yes, this is the person I am: I make an effort to relax! 🙂 and watching a Ukrainian reality show called “Revizor” whereby a goody girl checks out cleanliness of cafes and hotels. And also for cooking a simple but delicious meal of grilled vegetables. Adore this stuff!
I got this vision at Spring Equinox of the Goddess being extremely silly at this time of the year… so.. yeah… doing my bit…

Today I am grateful to the manufacturers of vegan chocolate dessert – comes in tubs like yogurt. Smooth, creamy, chocolaty. It also reminds me of that stuff I used to eat when I worked in a girl scout camp – before I went vegan. Bitter (because of the camp) – sweet (the dessert) memories.
