Today I am grateful to the authors of Veganomicon. I realised that I had not cooked the recipes I used to love for what might very well be years, so I pulled myself together and made quinoa pilaf and rice with lentils and caramelised onions today. Delicious.

24 June 2012: cafe service
Today I am grateful to my husband for relieving me of the responsibility to think what to cook and what to eat (as my Mom says, how silly it is that a person has to eat three times a day!). He’s not the best cook in the world, though, so I say “cafe service” rather than “restaurant service”. 🙂
