30 June 2013: meteorology by daughter

Today I am grateful to my daughter for an improvised meteorological demonstration. She was drawing weather events and explaining them to me at the same time.

 

Oh – and of course I am grateful to John Boynton Priestley for the 31st of June, which is today! Love and dreams come true to everyone!

29 June 2014: dill rice pilau and roasted vegetables

Today I am grateful to my husband’s friend and a hostess of a barbecue we went to for cooking especially for me a delicious tray of roasted vegetables (artichokes were particularly divine), and dill rice pilau, which she kept vegan. Perfect summer treat, perfect lady.

16 June 2014: complete exhaustion paves the way

Today I am grateful for complete exhaustion from previous arguments with my husband, which allowed me to relax and not fight him today. Great improvement. They say that Ozu used this method on his actors: exhausting them first, and then they delivered perfect performance.
