Today I am grateful for this parody of The Hobbit. It is very funny. The only thing I can’t understand is the author’s statement that she actually liked the film. Peter Jackson is a helpless director who did not get The Lord of the Rings books, and I expected him to fare even worse with the Hobbit, and he fulfilled my expectations to the full. The Lord of the Rings film trilogy was a mistake with a few redeeming features (such the costumes and props made by people actually in love with Tolkien‘s world, as we learn from the extras on DVDs). But the Hobbit film is a complete and utter mess.
But I am grateful for that parody and I would be grateful to anyone who contributes to the case of exposing Peter Jackson’s attempts on the Middle Earth for what they are – attempted murders of the spirit of the Professor’s works.
