Today I am grateful to Julia Cameron and Dr Estes for the advice they give in their The Artist’s Way and Women who Run with the Wolves books, which I actually followed today. When you’re at the end of your tether, the best move is not to make a move – because it will probably be right off the end of your tether. So, the best bet is to sit tight, (preferably on a yoga mat), do some Pilates, eat some fruit (OK, one, just one donut is allowed if the situation is really dire). It will get better.
