Today I am grateful to Sergei Petrovich Kapitsa, a Soviet and Russian physicist, who passed away today. He was a host to a popular and long-running Soviet television science programme, as well as a leading researcher. As tribute, today I read a transcript of one of his television appearances in which he spoke about his take on global demographics.
