Today I am grateful to counsellors at the Counselling Service of my University who introduced me to body scan mindfulness exercise. It is very simple: just being with parts of your body starting with your toes and ending with your scalp. Being aware of the body relaxes it without any unnecessary effort. Simple, and very effective: relaxing and energising.
