Today I am grateful to Benjamin Zephaniah for his poetry, his veganism and his anti-capitalism. I am reading his poetry collection “Too Black Too Strong” now. Zephaniah is the poet we need for today, when global capitalism is eating people, animals and environment alive and is about to have the whole planet go through its intestines.

he is too good to be true, in fact. but i know he is also human, makes mistakes sometimes. and there are still a lot of people like him in this world who will inspire us to do good and hope for a better world. peace, benjie!
